I was really nervous but, coming to Dr. Irwin’s office is life changing and was 100% pain free like Sandy, Dr. Irwin and others in the office were saying. I grew up in a small town with a local dentist who knew my name and my story, and I did not expect that I would be able to replicate the same warmth and intimacy out here in southern california.

Thankfully, I was wrong! Everyone at Irwin Dentistry has been so kind to me, remembering the details of my life and overflowing with gentleness as I navigate the new responsibilities of post-grad life.

(I especially went to shout out Sandy — she is such a lovely dental assistant and she makes me feel so loved and cared for every time I come.) Mary Anne S

Posted On: 03/09/2025 I went to get my upper teeth aligned. My bottom teeth were perfectly aligned so I didn't need a brace for my bottom teeth. He tried to sell me Invisalign, a bottom brace, a crown for one tooth, and 2 or 3 other services that I didn't need. I told him no, but he was pushy for some time, until he agreed to my no. He agreed that he could align my upper teeth without the bottom brace. Later, I found out that he held a grudge because he didn't get his way on selling me Invisalign, a bottom brace, a crown for one tooth, and 2 or 3 other services that I didn't need. (Note: When a dentist is trying to sell you something that you don't need, that is the time to walk out the dental office and find yourself another dental office. Being a dentist is part of the medical field, not part of a store where they try to sell you extra things that you do not need). I stayed, for being ignorant and naive at that time, so the dentist misaligned my facial structure by pulling out the entire upper teeth by 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, or more. He left one tooth 25% crooked. When he took out my upper brace and began to remove the glue or cement, he grinded some of my enamel on every upper tooth so that in the future I would be more acceptable to cavities. This is based on my past experience with this dentist. This dentist is a sales person, not what I would call a real honest dentist. Carlos T
