Meet Our Team
Dr. Irwin has been practicing dentistry in Orange County since 1991. He received his DDS degree from Loma Linda University. He did his undergraduate work at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and in London, England at the University of England to receive his BS degree in Human Biology. He has special interest in orthodontics, dental implants, & cosmetic smile enhancement.
A hallmark of his practice is the friendliness and professionalism of his staff. He's also the 4th generation to serve the Whittier/La Mirada area. He practiced with his father (also a dentist) for 15 years before his retirement in 2004. His grandfather was a pharmacist, & his great grandfather a cement contractor that laid some of the original streets & sidewalks in Whittier.
He and his wife Melanie have triplet boys Jared, Caleb, & Ethan and a daughter Ella - all in college. And when he's not spending time with family - he enjoys playing piano, walking their golden retrievers, surfing, & trail-bike riding.

Amy is a Dental Assistant and Office Manager at Irwin Dentistry. She has been in the dental field for 3 years after transitioning from her 6-year career as a High School educator and Adjunct Professor of Anatomy and Physiology. Amy has been a patient of Dr. Irwin’s since she was a junior higher in braces and is excited to be part of the Irwin Dentistry team.
In her spare time she is a Dental Assisting Instructor at OC Dental Academy helping her students find their passion for dentistry just as she has found hers. When she is not working she enjoys golfing with her family on the weekends as well as running her Health and Life Coaching business. Amy has a passion for helping individuals live their healthiest, happiest lives and she is excited to help patients achieve their dental-related health goals.
Brandi is Dr. Irwin’s Front Office Treatment Coordinator and Insurance Specialist. She has worked in Dentistry for over 30 years. For the first 10 years of her dental career she worked chairside with the Dentist as a Registered Dental Assistant.
She is a mom to one daughter and four fur babies. When she is not watching her daughter participate in her High School sports, you can find her thrifting for her Online Reselling Business. Brandi is passionate about helping patients get the most out of their Dental Experience at Irwin Dentistry.
Courtney is a Registered Dental Hygienist at Irwin Dentistry. She has been in the dental field for a total of 5 years. She has been a Hygienist for over 3 years and prior to that she spent 2 years working as a receptionist.
In her free time you can find her spending time with her long time boyfriend, her two young nieces, or working out at the gym. She loves to travel and has been to France, England, and Costa Rica. She fell in love with dentistry when she was working as a receptionist. She loved the atmosphere and the relationships between clinician and patients. She believes that every patient deserves quality dental care and looks forward to helping you achieve your dental goals at your next visit!
Miriam Miriam is a Registered Dental Hygienist at Irwin Dentistry. She has been working as a Hygienist since 2016, but has been in the dental field since 2010. Her passion for hygiene and quality patient care is evident in each interaction she has with her patients.
A Whittier/La Habra native, Miriam and her husband have now started their own family and are raising their two daughters in Whittier as well. She is an active member of her church, and enjoys spending her free time with her family. She enjoys watching college football, traveling, and cooking. She believes that every patient deserves quality dental care and looks forward to helping you achieve your dental goals at your next visit!
Sandy is a Registered Dental Assistant at Irwin Dentistry. She has been in the dental field for over 20 years and has worked in both specialized and general dentistry, but has a big heart for pediatric dentistry. She started in dentistry 20 years ago due to her passion for helping people and her warm, welcoming presence is felt throughout the office by both patients and staff here at Irwin Dentistry. The excitement Sandy feels for helping patients achieve a comfortable and enjoyable office visit is unmatched and she goes above and beyond to ensure patients are cared for. She looks forward to meeting you at your next dental visit!
She has 4 amazing children and in her free time Sandy enjoys writing as a published author.
